Manager of On-Air Promotions Department TEMP
SUPERVISES: Production Coordinators, Associate Producers, Production Assistants, Assistant Avid Editors, and other staff as required
PURPOSE: Overseeing production of International Network promos, and video projects for International Marketing, as well as promotions strategy for E! and TSN.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with Executive Creative Director to determine promo needs for both E! and TSN
Oversee On Air Promotions Planning: quarterly promo placement strategy, campaign lenghts and start dates as approved by Marketing SVP.
Work closely with Programming Directors to establish priorities for the Network in conjonction with Marketing Plan.
Manage and track department’s budget, and budgets for individual projects including sales tape.
Manage delivery of all cross channels promotions to Marketing.
Ensure a post schedule is in place for each project which allows ample time for script and cut approvals, and making on-air deadlines.
Work closely with the promo scheduling aspect of the Traffic department to determine inventory needs, scheduling strategy, and to inform them of any spot delays or fixes.
Work with Operations’ Post Production Manager to properly manage drive space and overall post workflow.
Oversee quality control of all final spots
Oversee production coordinators, associate producers, and production assistants in booking sessions and completing all production to meet delivery deadlines.
Manage versioning team.
Work with editing staff to ensure all department needs are being met, and keep producers informed of any procedural / workflow changes.
Interact with Domestic On-Air Promotions, taking full advantage of their production resources.
Optimize and troubleshoot the utilization of the promo module in the Pilat system.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Experience in on-air promotions, post production, or programming preferred.
Highly detail oriented, strong memory skills, strong organizational skills all required.
