Job Description
Warner Bros. International TV Distribution Inc. seeks a Senior Vice President, Production for the Business Affairs & Operations department. Position will work with the President, International Television, Executive Vice President, Business Affairs & Operations and Regional staff based in individual countries including the United Kingdom, Germany and India to define and execute strategies in connection with the development, production and distribution of scripted drama, light entertainment and reality programming in international territories. Develop relationships with writers and producers in the United States and international territories. Develop relationships with broadcasters and production companies with a view to creating partnerships/joint ventures. Acquire formats from local producers to produce in the United States and international territories. In conjunction with Regional staff oversee productions and creative processes to ensure productions are executed in a manner consistent with budgets and core strategies. Work with Home Office (Burbank) and Regional executives to prepare business plans, five year plans and financial forecasts.
Requirements
BA/BS degree. Working knowledge of television product business essential. Strong financial and management skills required. Fluency in foreign languages preferred. Minimum 7 years experience in a senior television production role. International experience required. Extensive travel may be required. Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with managers, outside vendors, and other levels of personnel. Must have ability to remain calm in high pressure environment. Must have the ability to organize and schedule work effectively. Must have the ability to work well under time constraints. Must be able to handle multiple tasks. Must be goal orientated.
