Post Production & Media Manager

Description
PURPOSE: Responsible for overseeing the post-production process of all E! International Network, Production Department and Client Services Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manage all International Edit bays, including Avid, Avid Express, Liquid Blues and Audio.
· Manage all Editors for International Operations
· Develop and maintain QC procedures for all media ingested for International use.
· Accountable for the most cost effective use of post-production resources.
· Interface and troubleshoot problems with delivery of media with all areas of International, including Network, Joint Venture and Sales
· Maximize use of edit facilities between Operations, On-Air promotions and Production to ensure full use of resources.
· Create and maintain schedule of elements to be delivered and any changes to the delivery schedule.
· Identify any recuts to existing programs, liaise with Int’l Program Planning, Int’l Production, and any other pertinent groups to fulfill recut requests
· Work with International Managements to plan future needs and interface with Engineering and IT to research new technology trends and find suitable technology and processes.
· Be available “on-call” when necessary.
· Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum of 3 years post-production experience.
· Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
· Must have experience in post-production budget preparation and financial tracking.
· Strong working knowledge of editing platforms (i.e., AVID).
· Strong working knowledge of technical equipment.
· Experience working in a post-production facility or network environment is preferred.
· Must be flexible to work on weekends or evenings as required.
· Must have the ability to juggle numerous tasks, be highly organized and detail oriented, and have excellent interpersonal skills.
