Description
RealClearPolitics.com (RCP)-- a Forbes Media Interactive Properity -- has become one of America's premier independent political web sites. Updated every morning and throughout the day, RCP culls and publishes the best commentary, news, polling data, and links to important resources from all points of the political compass and covering all the important issues of the day. RealClearPolitics has become a trusted filter for anyone interested in politics.
We're looking for a marketing associate who will design, create and execute proposals and other marketing materials for RealClearPolitics.com. You will work closely with the sales team to develop proposals and creative sales packages; coordinate the production and development of key sales team RFPs; review competitive online landscape and develops a system for measuring advertisers on competitive web sites. Analyze ad revenue/ impression market share information of competitive sites and monitor the monthly performance of these companies via Ad Relevance; analyze current and prospective advertising customer base and present target ad recommendations to sales team and organize ad sales promotion list. The Associate will coordinate with other Forbes divisions to create integrated advertising solutions.
Qualifications
Candidates will have 1-2 years of related experience. The ability to understand and utilize syndicated research, industry research and site visitor surveys (such as @Plan, AdRelevance, SiteCensus, ComScore, and Nielsen/Netratings) is a plus. Candidates must be proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and knowledgeable of HTML. We're looking for a team player who can hit the ground running in a fast paced, sales oriented environment.
