Posting Job Description The CW Network, LLC seeks a Sr. Creative Executive for the On-Air Creative/Radio department. Position will supervise Writer/Producers and post production. Will manage his/her employees on both administrative and creative levels. SCD will work closely with Operations, On-Air Graphics, On Line & Mobile, Music and Integrated Marketing. Will be responsible for selected CW primetime broadcast nights. Will be the creative leader for specific programs and will oversee all special projects for these programs. The SCD will distribute the workload among his/her reports. The SCD will also be a hands-on writer/producer on projects determined by the VP of On Air Creative or the EVP of Marketing including special shoot assignments, it is expected that the SCD will occasionally serve as director. The SCD will also supervise all radio promotion, internet and wireless promotion, cable promotion, and integrated marketing efforts for his/her shows. The SCD will determine the amount of spots needed for each of their specified night/programs and will work closely with the manger of scheduling on the placement and broadcast rotation of their promotion. Responsible for branding assignment and featurette assignments in addition to regular duties. Will supervise outside promotion vendors when needed.
Requirements
Experience in Primetime Network and / or cable television promotion. Experience managing creative personnel / external creative agencies. Must be able communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel (in person, written, telephone). Must be able to pay close attention to detail. Must be able to be self-motivated. Must be able to work efficiently under time constraints. Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. Must be able to organize and schedule work effectively. Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime, if and when necessary.
