Description
The Project Manager will lead horizontal and cross-functional integration teams in support of Technical Operations key programs and deployments.
Responsibilities:
Lead cross-functional teams on integration/execution of programs and initiatives
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
Facilitate cross-departmental planning and implementation of products
Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
Assist in coordination of Change Control process of deployments into production
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
Manage and communicate risk, balancing quality, cost and time-to-market
Monitor and manage project schedules
Organize and chair project reference group meetings to review requirements
Education and Experience:
BA or BS degree required
Minimum of 2 years of working in project management (technical experience preferred)
Experience with waterfall and Agile processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well with others, inside company and with clients/partners
Must be able to meet deadlines within demanding, fast-paced environment
Previous work within an Operations Group is preferred but not required
Nice to Have
Project management certification desired, but not required
